Microarray and CircRNA Expression Profiling

Circular RNA (circRNA) is a universal and diverse endogenous non-coding RNA (ncRNA). Unlike linear RNA, circRNA forms a closed continuous loop through reverse splicing with the covalently linked 3'and 5'ends. The circularization caused by this feature can produce RNA exonuclease-mediated degradation resistance and high stability. Although they were originally thought to be non-coding, there are now more and more discoveries that indicate whether circRNA can be encoded or not has yet to be confirmed. CircRNA plays an important role as a miRNA sponge, or interacts with RNA-related proteins to form RNA protein complexes that regulate transcription. Interestingly, circRNA is abundant in the cytoplasm, is evolutionarily conserved and relatively stable. Although the biology of circRNA and its gene regulation mechanism have yet to be elucidated, more and more studies have shown the influence of circRNA in various cancers and other human diseases (such as cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease). These characteristics indicate that circRNA is more suitable as a biomarker than other types of RNA. Therefore, circRNAs can be used as new biomarkers and therapeutic targets for the treatment of such diseases.

Service Process

Microarray tools can be used as a more sensitive, effective and cost-effective technique for circRNA expression profiling. We provide genome-wide circRNA expression profiling services, using the latest high-throughput microarray technology. With advanced equipment, outstanding microarray experts, and unique probe design, we provide customers with first-class services. Our one-stop solution for needles includes sample preparation, labeling, microarray detection, data processing and in-depth data analysis. The specific service process includes receiving nucleic acid and non-nucleic acid biological samples, sample quality control, chemical labeling, microarray detection, data analysis and annotation. Using uniquely designed probes, combined with enzymatic methods to remove linear RNA, specific enrichment to improve sensitivity, capture and quantify circRNA targets. Our circRNA microarray can be widely used in humans and experimental animals, and can detect nucleic acids, blood, plasma, serum, cell lines, FFPE or fresh frozen tissue samples.
