We are confident to provide you with high-quality products and high-quality services to accelerate the output of research results.

Tissue Microarray Technology

Tissue microarray (TMA) is a new type of high-throughput biochip that can integrate tens to hundreds of tissue specimens onto a single glass slide. It revolutionary supports the simultaneous analysis of multiple diseases and basic research at different stages of plants and animals. The microarray contains many small representative tissue samples from hundreds of different causes, which are assembled on a single histology slide so that multiple samples can be analyzed at the same time with high throughput. Tissue microarrays are embedded blocks produced by extracting cylindrical tissue cores from different embedded donor blocks and re-embedding them in a single acceptor (microarray) block at defined array coordinates. Using this technique, as many as 1,000 or more tissue samples can be arranged into a single embedding block. Under the same standardized conditions, simultaneously analyze molecular targets at DNA, mRNA and protein levels on a single slide, and maximize the preservation and use of limited and irreplaceable archive tissue samples. At the same time, the development of tissue microarrays also provides a certain possibility for the uniformity and error reduction of other histological detection methods, which greatly saves research costs (time, money and manpower).

Service Content

The types of customized TMA we provide for tissue array customization services include four parts: TMA for human tissue samples, TMA for animal tissue samples, TMA for plant tissue samples, and TMA for special tissue samples. This is mainly for animal tissue samples (fresh samples, fixed samples and embedded tissue blocks), plant tissue samples, cells and clinical samples (needle core biopsy, excised specimens). We also provide optional embedding services for fresh samples. The embedding medium depends on the physical and chemical properties of the sample. Our service process includes custom TMA design, pretreatment of tissue samples, pathological consultation and labeling of tissue samples, creation of custom TMA blocks, and TMA block slices. On this basis, we also provide microarray detection services. Our pathology experiment platform can complete experiments related to sample histology detection, reducing costs for you. The design part of TMA includes optional core diameter design (0.6mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm), arrangement of specimens (random or orientation, the distance of specimens), number of installed specimens (2–10,000), and specimens size (0.1 mm–5 mm).

Our Benefits

CD Genomics provides high-quality microarray tools and convenient detection services for histopathology. We have a large team of scientists with a solid academic foundation and cooperate with researchers in basic biology and biomedical projects from all over the world. The advantage of choosing an analytical testing outsourcing testing service is that there is no need to consider any other costs (such as equipment and laboratory space), and it saves supervision or management. This advanced technology can quickly turn around and provide reliable results, thereby saving valuable time and resources. Please contact us for more detailed information.
